NY says these 52 bus companies need improvement. Search safety ratings statewide

A total of 52 bus companies and other operators of passenger vehicles in New York were rated as “needs improvement” by the state Department of Transportation during the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
The ratings are based on the department’s regular safety inspections of operators of large passenger vehicles like buses, school buses, limos and vans. If 25% or more of an operator’s vehicles fails inspection, they’re tagged with the “needs improvement” rating, the lowest on the department’s scale.
